going beyond hate

This book shows how our ideas about tolerance as a way to end hate are a step in the wrong direction. As the author demonstrates, tolerance is just a way to keep on hating while feeling OK about ourselves. Better to look beyond only tolerating someone to actually accepting, understanding and appreciating others.
