Fine content; poor Kindle formatting

The content of these cards is very good. The formatting of the Kindle edition is terrible. It needs to be formatted so that you're looking sequentially at the "front" of one card and then the "back" of the next card on the next Kindle page/screen. As it's formatted now, there's no separation between flashcards, so the "back" of the previous card often shows up on the same screen view as the "front" of the next card. This is very confusing for studying. The Lange Histology flash cards are formatted perfectly; these dermatology flash cards should be formatted exactly the same.

Joseph Benderksy's new edition of A Concise History of Nazi Germany manages to be concise and comprehensive—as well as up-to-date. I have used earlier editions in my courses on twentieth-century Germany with great success. It leads students through Nazism from its inception in post–World War I Germany to the years of the Third Reich and then into what he calls the ‘intractable Nazi legacy’ that lives on to this day. Nazism, it seems, will not go away. This book provides students with a solid platform from which to launch their exploration of the effects and the meaning of the Nazi phenomenon. (Karl A. Well written with factual information and historical analysis presented in a clear and balanced manner. Excellent reading for anyone looking to learn some history as opposed to the caricaturistic film/tv version of events that is unfortunately so common in the public consciousness lately. This book is very accessible to readers of all levels and the subject matter is important to learn about. Highly recommended.

About the Author
Camp Kirkland graduated from Florida State University with Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees, and went on to teach band at the elementary, secondary and collegiate levels. He has performed on euphonium and trombone with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra,River City Brass Band and a number of touring bands and orchestras. Camp is best known for his pioneer work in reestablishing instrumental music as a viable medium in today’s church. His position as Instrumental Director at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville was the first of its kind. With several hundred choral and instrumental publications, Camp Kirkland remains a leader in the church orchestra growth phenomenon. He is also much in demand as a conductor and seminar clinician. Camp is currently a free lance composer and arranger residing with his wife, Fran, in Florida.

Practical advice for taking action

I got the Kindle version of this book. While it does contain information I've read elsewhere, what I liked about it was Arina's approach to the topic. She advocates doing one thing at a time and doing it constantly over time. Where I've always failed is in making a big push and then not following through. Arina says success is built on small efforts made constantly over time rather than big pushes. Her advice for creating a habit was useful and focused on making the habit specific like any good goal. I particularly liked the part about tapping into the emotional reasons for doing something then using that to help motivate me to do the habit. I feel like I got my money's worth.

I really must say this book really impressed me. I have been reading Arina's blog and receiving her quote of the day for quite some time now, and I really do think this book is some of her best work. It made me really evaluate my new year, and what goals I would be setting. I have started using her technique and had amazing results. Her work in this book has actually inspired me to write my own book. I really recommend it for anyone who is trying to set and achieve goals.

How To Take Action may contain well known truisms.... BUT, being well known doesn't mean well done. Personally, I found the book a good "kick in the pants". Yes I know this but like motivation and bathing we need to do it daily:)
